hi there, In my company we have hundreds of different projects, all projects have multiple drawings looking at the x-refs for there particular project.
What would be the best way of storing these x-refs (model files) so they can be easily managed and without making them vunerable?
At the moment, we have individual project folders with a sub folder for drawings and a sub folder for the x-ref but we are thinking about creating 1 main model files folder for all the x-refs (model files) to be stored and re-pathed.
Im sure it dosn't realy matter how there stored but thought i would ask any way. Cheers CAD crew, all help appreciated

I think that both ways have some advantages and disadvantages. For better management of xrefed files and their versions you may consider Autodesk Vault.
