I have been using Autocad for a few years now and found a problem after transitioning to from '07 to '08. I will try to describe the situation. I draw a horizontal line from TOP View, then switch to FRONT view, I then rotate the line about the end point 45deg. In every version up to '07 the line would rotate from the FRONT view and apear shorter from the TOP. In '08 I find the line is rotated reletive to the TOP regardles to the view I'm in.
(The UCS shows proper position from the front view Z Up X Right)
 
Is this a settings issue?
