I need to get an imprint of an object. I converted this object from .stl to 3ds max file and tried to extract from the box (I didn't manage to do it from the principal model, so I tried a primitive box) having converted both objects in edit poly beforehand. And I ended up with an imprint of the surface only (pic. 3)Sad.
How can I get an accurate imprint of the first object?

PS. I didn't upload the file itself as it's pretty large, but I'll do it if needed.

Any ideas are welcome, as I've run out of mineDead
