I am working on  a project in Africa.  The coordinate system is UTM84-27N.  Point file is in No., lat, long, elev, desc.  Set in meters.  in the point coordinate in the point file is (-0-33-3.4307,34-7-21.3959) the point ends up at location (S0°28'16.63", E33°25'39.32").  this also happens if trying to enter a point or georeference marker at the same coordinate as the point file.  It is acting like it is doing a transformation however none are set.  if it was just when importing points I would say it is a problem with the Point file format.  Unfortunately it is not limited to that command.  Help please.  I am out of ideas.  Thanks in advance.
