My problem is plotting on paper space with the window option. When I go to the plot screen I choose “window” then on paper space I window in what I want, like the bill of materials (B.O.M.) then I plot. And it plots what I have chosen but when I return to the paper space my B.O.M. or whatever I have chosen is the size of the paper space.   So in general whatever I chose in the window it scales it up to the size of paper space and everything else.

After you have selected what you want to plot the first time. Select the viewport and then lock it this way it locks the viewport to the size and scale you choose.
