AutoCAD displays only a rectangle instead of the dimension text.

If you get only a hollow rectangle (frame) instead of the dimension text, check the setting of the QTEXTMODE variable.

Set it back to 0 if neccessary and issue a Regen. Check also settings of the dimension style.
