Q - question

Automatic elevation labels.

A - answer You can use label blocks to place automatic elevation labels to your DWG drawing - either to annotate true Z-elevations for 3D models, or to label Y-values for 2D elevations (projected views).

These labels can dynamically change the displayed values (elevation, rounded elevation, relative elevation to a reference plane, or even inferred floor number) - examples of DWG blocks of elevation labels can be found in the Block catalog: Elevation labels
