Data formats supported in Autodesk Infrastructure Modeler 2012.
A - answer BIM application Autodesk Infrastructure Modeler 2012 (now Infraworks) directly supports 2D and 3D data in the following vector, raster and database formats:
  • FBX, 3DS, OBJ, DAE, DXF (Revit, 3ds Max, ...)
  • DWG (AutoCAD, Civil 3D...)
  • Autodesk IMX (export from Civil 3D)
  • LandXML
  • Raster formats DOQ, ECW, IMG, JPG, JP2, PNG, SID, TIFF, ADF, ASC, BT, DDF, DEM, DT0/DT1/DT2, GRD, HGT, XML
  • SDF
  • SHP (ESRI)
  • SQLite (.sdx, .sqlite, .db)
  • Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server Spatial, WFS
  • FDO: PostgreSQL, PostGIS, OGR, ArcSDE
