How to insert your 3D model into a PowerPoint presentation?

A - answer Steps for inserting 3D models from CAD/BIM applications into MS Office 365 - PowerPoint or Word 365. See the function Insert > Illustrations > 3D models > This device (or From a file).

The videotip below shows the procedure for inserting 3D models in the formats STL, FBX, OBJ, 3MF, PLY or GLB. You can get these from all Autodesk 3D applications, including AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, Fusion 360, 3ds Max. Other options for conversion of 3D data are described in the Tip 11816.

You can move/rotate the 3D model interactively in the edit mode of your presentation or document, or using animations, even in the presentation mode.
