If you have a complicated polyline (with hundreds or thousands of vertices) in your drawing and you want to simplify (weed) it in AutoCAD LT, you can use use the function "Segment curve" from the add-on application "CADstudio LT Extension".

This function replaces (with a single click) the selected arc or polyline with straight segments of a given length. So you can reduce the vertex count.
