Both AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT contain (since version 2000) basic sets of symbols and blocks (for civil, mechanical, mapping and electrical engineering) available through the DesignCenter (ADC) function - since version 2004 on the DC Online tab. To gain access to a library of thousands of other symbols for AutoCAD (or LT) you can purchase the Autodesk Symbols product.

Extensive libraries of more than 1.000.000 standard mechanical parts are included in AutoCAD Mechanical, Mechanical Desktop and Autodesk Inventor products.

Libraries (families) of intelligent architectural components are available in Autodesk Architectural Desktop and Autodesk Revit Building.

Other libraries are part of industry-specific add-on applications for AutoCAD or are available online for download or i-drop - see web links on www.cadstudio.cz/cad-links.
