Q - question

How to redefine block entities to ByLayer?

A - answer Some entities in my blocks do not reflect the color (or other property) assigned to the layer they are placed on.

The block is probably defined with specific colors assigned to the entities. You can easily redefine (repair) your blocks with the SETBYLAYER command (A2008 and higher).

In older AutoCAD versions you can use the REFEDIT command to redefine the block or run the BL0 or FIXBLOCK Lisp utilities (see Download).
