What is the maximum size of a polyface mesh in AutoCAD?

A - answer AutoCAD can create and process polyface mesh surfaces (PFACEMESH, AcDbPolyFaceMesh, the command PFACE) up to the size of 32767 vertices.

The newer mesh-type object (sub-division MESH, AcDbSubDMesh, the command MESH) can contain up to 16.7 million faces.
