For subassemblies created in Subassembly Composer 2022 (SAC), you can change the order of their input parameters using the Drag&Drop method during creation. The parameters will then also be sorted in this order in the properties palette after importing the subassembly into Civil 3D.

It is therefore advisable to sort the parameters systematically - for example, dimension parameters at the beginning and coding parameters at the end of the list.

In previous versions of Subassembly Composer, you can only change the order of the parameters in the completed *.pkt file. This file needs to be unzipped and the parameters sorted by editing the *.atc text file. Then zip the archive again and import the edited *.pkt file into Civil 3D.
