How to change AutoCAD serial number?
A - answer If you want to change the existing serial number of your already installed AutoCAD (without reinstallation), you can do it in the product's About box.

Go to Help > About AutoCAD > Product Information and to display the license dialog and click Update. Enter your new serial number. Then click Activate and follow the on-screen instructions to activate the new license.

You can use this approach to e.g. change your old student-version to a newly purchased commercial version of AutoCAD.
