How to easily count the number of certain objects in a DWG drawing in AutoCAD LT?

A - answer In AutoCAD LT, you can use the COUNT command and palette, just like in full AutoCAD. This command counts and displays the number of objects of the specified type, e.g. block references, lines, texts (with possible filtering by layers or other properties). In addition, it can insert an associative dynamic text label (field) into the drawing showing the current number of objects so specified - see COUNTFIELD.
