Q - question

How to find missing numbers in a series of numbered blocks?

A - answer If you have an AutoCAD DWG drawing with a series of numbered parcels, doors or terminal pins and you want to find forgotten (missing) numbers in this numeric series, you can use the CADstudio srxText utility and its command SRXMISSING.

So you can quickly identify problems in hundreds of blocks or texts.

Download srxText, load it with APPLOAD and start the SRXMISSING command. It works like this (your answers in bold):

Find texts missing from an numeric interval (no replacements)
Interval start: 100
Interval end: 999
Search Layer/< All>: ENTER
Search Selected/< All>: ENTER
Number of searched entities: 900
Number of found entities: 897
Missing numbers from the interval 100-999:
