To turn off the individual DWG drawing tabs displayed above the drawing window (below the ribbon) - e.g. to get more screen height - use the FILETABCLOSE command.

To redisplay the tabs Start, Drawing1, etc., use the FILETAB command.

The display state of these drawing tabs is reflected in the FILETABSTATE variable. The display state also affects the behavior (disables) of the Ctrl+Tab keyboard shortcut.
