The freeware LISP tool SelectSimilar (SelS) extends the standard command SELECTSIMILAR to select DWG objects of the same length or area. It can also be used in AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD Web app.

Download the SelectSimilar.LSP file from DL Download and load it into AutoCAD, LT or AutoCAD Web using _APPLOAD. Then run it by typing SELS (dialog) or -SELS (command line).

Select the source object, the match-detection properties you want, and the command then selects all matching objects in your DWG drawing - e.g. same length, same level and length, same object type and length, same length and area, etc.

You can also use negative match against the first selected object - e.g. all curves of different length, all lots of different area.
