Q - question

Internal CAM kernel error in Fusion 360.

A - answer If your Autodesk Fusion 360 displays the error "Internal CAM kernel error. Please report through your support channel.", there may be a Windows user account issue, in addition to possible causes in the actual toolpath calculation failure.

When your user account in Windows (login) contains special characters (e.g. accents or local codepage glyphs), the CAM module in Fusion 360 may report this problem. Run Fusion 360 under a different Windows account or rename your account to ASCII-only characters.

Another common cause is trying to run Fusion 360 under an incompatible operating system - such as Windows 7.
