Q - question

Keyboard shortcut for Select Previous.

A - answer The function "Select Previous" can be easily assigned to a keyboard shortcut (hotkey, accelerator).

This command is predefined in the CUI as a macro:

$M=$(if,$(getvar,cmdactive),,_select;)_p

This macro - the command "Select Previous" - in the CUI dialog can be dragged from the bottom command list up to the tree branch Keyboard shortcuts > Shortcut keys. Then assign the requested hotkey to this command in the right pane - e.g. Ctrl+Alt+P. Finish the dialog with OK.
