Pan view (change view target) in multiple viewports of a layout.

You have a completed DWG drawing with layout viewports showing views on the model geometry and now you need to move the model, or direct the views in all viewports to a different point in the model (modelspace). For this, you can use the freeware utility PanVPs.

The application PanVPs pans views in all selected unlocked viewports in the current layout (paperspace) by a specified vector X,Y.

You can download the LISP file PanVPs.vlx from Download, load it into your AutoCAD with APPLOAD and invoke it by typing the PANVPS command from a layout. Specify the displacement X,Y (offset) in the model units.

PS: the slow-motion animation of the view pan is intentionally preset using the VTOPTIONS command to illustrate the view change, the application itself performs the view pan immediately
