Q - question

How to switch between drawing windows using a keyboard?

A - answer If you want to switch quickly between individual drawings opened in an AutoCAD session, use (as in other MDI Windows applications) the standard Windows keyboard shortcut - Ctrl+F6 (or Ctrl+Tab).

The first 9 drawings can be switched with the Alt+W1 to Alt+W9 key combinations.

You can also use the AcadXtabs ARX application by Tony Tanzillo ( or Cadwerx DocBar or iDwgTab, or the free Drawing Tabs by Autodesk.

Since AutoCAD version 2005 you can use the TASKBAR command (=1) to represent each opened drawing as a separate button in Windows taskbar - then you can use your cursor or Alt+Tab to quickly switch between drawings.
