Q - question

Rounding of AutoCAD entities to a fixed grid.

A - answer If you need to round/fix any imprecisely drawn points (automatically edit/modify coordinates) of your existing AutoCAD drawing objects to a fixed 2D/3D grid (e.g. to exactly 0.5 m, 0.25 inch), you can use the FXG command (LISP utility) by J.Burke.

This useful tool can be used for rounding vertex positions to a snap grid (points, lines, blocks, circles, arcs, polylines). Any imprecise vertices drawn off grid will be rounded - snapped to the given grid.

FXG (FixOffGrid) can be downloaded from here.
