The FLAY utility suddenly places texts and dimensions in wrong layers.
A - answer The reactor for automatic placement of the individual object types to prescribed layers, FLAY, collides with internal AutoCAD settings.

New AutoCAD variables for placing annotations to specific layers - DIMLAYER and TEXTLAYER (stored in the DWG) - take precedence before the settings from the FLAY utility. If you want to prefer the FLAY settings, set DIMLAYER resp. TEXTLAYER to the value of "." (dot).
