Wrong color on monochrome DWG prints from AutoCAD Mechanical.

A - answer When printing or publishing a DWG drawing created in AutoCADu Mechanical, a wrong color may appear on leaders and mechanical symbols in the printout (or in a DWF/PDF file).

When publishing proxy objects from AutoCAD Mechanical (e.g. in Vault or DWG TrueView), object colors (e.g. for monochrome plot style) are applied differently then with printing native mechanical objects directly from AutoCAD Mechanical.

Do not recolor Mechanical objects using plain AutoCAD functions, but use the the respective style settings in Mechanical. See videotip:
