After the initial TRIM command, yes. But it's not much different than clicking cut objects.
Try it with the attached example. TRIM at the command line and ENTER to Select all. Then use a crossing window to trim all the red lines to the whites and all the whites to the reds.

What John meant to type was PICKFIRST.
![]() The best tip I know of with the TRIM command is to just hit the return key at the "Select objects" prompt, and not waste time selecting things... or missing something. By doing this you select everything and therefore everything in the drawing becomes a potential cutting object. Saves a lot of time. Dave |

Sounds like a system variable has been reset.
Try setting both PICKFIRST and PICKADD to a value of 1 and that should solve all pick-related problems. Edited by John Connor - 05.Jan.2012 at 11:30 |

i am having problems with the trim command. it is only selecting the last line which ever one i am selecting, and straight away de-selecting others, please help, many thanks
