I am running Lt and need to know if there is any way I can get a block count to run.......my guess is Lt will not let this occur Angry , nor will it run lisp routines Cry , unless someone has figured out a way around it.  Let me know if you have any ideas.
Thanks in advance!

You can use command  QSELECT, there in the dialogue choose Block reference and type or select (depend on version of cad) a name of block (beware of case sensitivity), and it will select them in the drawing or in the selection, if you have, and write a count at commandline or in properties dialogue.
I'm sorry for my bad English. Kackac

You can also use ATTEXT to extract the block information to a text file.

Alternatively, you can simply run the "Report blocks" function from the add-on application Xanadu LT Extension.
