How to load an ECW v3 format image in AutoCAD?

You can add support for the compressed raster file format ECW version v3 into AutoCAD (2014-2017) through the free ECW plugin, downloadable from

Download.

Besides ECW v2 and v3, it adds also support for the JPEG2000 format and for raster data from APOLLO servers.
