One of the functions in the new version of the Autodesk 360 cloud service is the rendered interactive viewer of CAD data stored in this cloud. This zero client supports viewing of 3D data in any of the supported CAD formats with just a plain web browser (HTML5-based). You can use it with parts and assemblies from Inventor, Fusion, Revit, Navisworks, IGES, STEP, Catia, Solidworks and other formats, you can freely orbit and zoom the models, display their tree structure, show physical properties of the individual assembly components, explode assemblies to individual components. The viewer also renders materials and textures assigned in the CAD data.

Thanks to the integration with Fusion 360, this rendered viewer is available also to the users of Autodesk Fusion 360.

When uploading assembly models, do not forget to use the option "Composite Design" and specify the main (top) assembly file so that the cloud application can recognize the mutual references and associations among the assembly components.

Example of viewing a well-known Inventor sample assembly Suspension (iam and ipt files):

We recommend to use the Google Chrome web browser.
