If you have moved your AutoCAD command line (2013 and higher) off screen by mistake - e.g. by mouse dragging, or by connecting off a second monitor, or by changing your screen resolution (projector) - you can return it back using a simple change in the CUI dialog.

CUI (CZ version)

For the current workspace expand the Palettes and locate the "Command Line" item. Here change the properties Show to "Yes" a Orientation e.g. to "Bottom". Apply/confirm the changes. Your command line will be again docked at the bottom of the drawing window. You can drag it to the desired position.

For older versions use the Tip 8018.
