Q - question

How to load a .CTB file into AutoCAD?

A - answer There is no special command to load plot styles (CTB, STB) into AutoCAD. These files are automatically offered (listed) in the PLOT dialog from the preset folder of the predefined (available) plot styles.

So you can just copy a new .CTB file to your plot style folder - see the contents of the variable ROAMABLEROOTPREFIX and its subfolder Plotters\Plot Styles - e.g.:

C:\Users\USERNAME\appdata\roaming\autodesk\autocad 2010\r18.0\enu\plotters\plot styles

You can define the support folder for plot styles in the dialog OPTIONS.
