Q - question

How to enter russian (cyrillic) text into your AutoCAD drawings?
A - answer Since Rel.13 AutoCAD uses Unicode character coding (2-byte) so you can use any language/coding for your drawing texts. Windows 9x/ME use 8-bit codepages for multilanguage texts, we recommend to use Windows NT, 2000, XP or higher for true Unicode support.

So how to enter eg. russian text? Just install/add the required language support (eg. Russian) from your Windows installation media. This adds a "locale" keyboard driver. Use one of the standard Unicoded fonts (so you don't need any special font, like cyrillic.shx) for your texts (eg. Arial, Times Roman, IsoCP). Use MText (not DText).
