Q - question

How to disable creation of BAK files?

A - answer AutoCAD saves a .BAK file (by default) when you save your drawing. If you work with larger files, you may want to disable this functionality (not recommended because of possible data loss on system failures).

Set the ISAVEBAK variable to 0 (saved in Registry).
