Question CAD

Q - question

Quick fix for broken assembly constraints.

A - answer If you make a substantial change in your assembly (e.g. batch replace of components), the original constraints might get broken (invalid) and your assembly will be unconstrained.

You can either fix the constraints individually - e.g. using the Design Doctor (red cross); or more conveniently - by deleting a recreating of the constraints.

Modeling View (CZ version)

For bulk operations with constraints, it is practical to switch the assembly tree to the "Modeling View" mode. The folder "Constraints" then contains all constraints together, including their status display. Use Shift and Ctrl to select all broken constraints, right-click on one of them and choose Delete.
