During mouse wheel zooms, AutoCAD Map scrolls the commandline and command history contains lots of empty MAPUICMDPICKSET commands (stylization updates).

Switch off the stylization button (padlock) on Map statusline. Apply the Map Service Pack 1 or SP2 (or higher).
