You first have to start by invoking the UNITS command where, if you look on the right side of the window, you'll see Angle > Type. This is where you pick Surveyor's Units from the drop down list. Then below that you'll see Precision. I recommend the second one on the drop down list which reads N0d00'00"E. To accept the changes click on the OK button.

I have a deed with survey units on but have no idea how to map this out in AutoCAD.
The readings are as such: S.47Degrees E for a distance of 177'3" S.29.5degrees E for a distance of 333' N.71.5degrees E for a distance of 358'6" N.20degrees W for a distance of 165'10" S.64degrees W for a distance of 197' ....and so on. How would I enter these or convert so that they can be entered? I have seen plenty of posts with degrees and minutes, seconds. I do not have any minutes or seconds as you can see. I need to do a survey lot plan for a permit application and approval. Any help greatly appreciated.
