Animation of 3D milling along a path in AutoCAD.

With the freeware utility MillAnim you can easily animate the milling tool along a path with subtracting material from the source 3D solid.

Download the LISP application MillAnim from Download, load it into AutoCAD with APPLOAD and run it by typing the MILLANIM command.

Select the source 3D solid (stock material), the tool solid (mill), the reference point on the tool, køivku the tool path (2D or 3D) and the animation step (delta, smooth enough). The application will simulate removal of the solid mass using the SUBTRACT command. You can influence the animation speed using the LISP variable _MILLDELAY.
