Cloud - the question of trust

Discussions with CAD users reveal that the success or failure of the cloud (incl. cloud in the CAD area) seems to be mainly a question of trust, a perception of its reliability and safety for professional users. Your own attitude to the cloud depends probably on your personal experience with web-based services and on the way you use your CAD software. Is the CAD cloud "dead" or rather the "next big thing"?
